Timekeeping

Programming Remote Control Features

Hqrp Remote Codes
So far, so good with this remote. It seems reasonably well-made. Buttons press easily. Certainly worth the money. It works well after programming for my Sharp portable air conditioner. The only problems are ones I consider minor:1. With the exception of the temperature reading, most of the items on the display are small, so users over 50, pull out your reading glasses.
2. The 'backlight' is really just a mini-flashlight on the end of the remote; it does NOT backlight the display.
3. In Fahrenheit display mode, the temperatire changes by, usually, 2 degrees (perhaps because the temperature adjusts in °C).
The bigger problems are with the instructions:
1. The printing is so small that I had trouble reading it (reading glasses again). Only the brand code chart is a reasonable print size.
2. The instruction to change the temperature display between °C and °F is almost hidden in tiny print at the end if the Product Introduction section.
3. Neither the Panel Description nor any other part of the instructions explains what the a/c mode symbols mean, and I can only identify 3 of 5 modes.
At least the instructions come in 4 languages besides English (French, Italian, Spanish, and German) for people in a few European countries, most of Latin American and eastern Canada. (FYI, I'm in the United States.)
